Carpet tiles or square carpets are squares cut from rolls which can be fitted together to make up a carpet. It comes with the backing already attached, which enables them to be mounted directly to the subfloor. The modularity and small size of individual patches also means much less cutting than with the large wall to wall rolls. This results in significantly quicker and easier installation and easy to remove than is the case with wall-to-wall carpets. A very cost-effective and suited for commercial environments with greater design flexibility.
